Sarah received her teacher training accreditation from triyoga which is recognised and accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and the Yoga Alliance USA.  She enjoys teaching small groups, couples and private tuition.

Sarah brings her 15 years of experience and knowledge of the eastern practices of tai-chi, ki-gong and shiatsu into her practice.  By merging her experience of these traditions with yoga, Sarah is able to tune in to her students to address their needs.

she will adjust the class structure, sequences and practice of the asana (yoga postures) to fit students particular needs, facilitating a more holistic yoga experience. Her knowlege of Chinese medicine and understanding of energy alignment is used to create balance in the body by stretching the energy meridians through yoga postures.

Sarah’s love of Iyengar Yoga has had an influence on her teaching bringing precision and expansion.  She continues her studies and gains further inspiration by attending workshops by advanced Iyengar teachers in England and France.   

There are many benefits of regular yoga practice.  Yoga is a great way to keep fit and develops awareness of the physical and mental states.  It also can aid in energy balance and strengthening the immune system.

Sarah helps her students design personal daily practices to foster self-development and well-being of mind, body and spirit.

Meditation and special breathing techniques known as pranayama can be incorporated into her classes if requested.
